The Louisiana Holiday Trail of Lights media familiarization tour will start in Shreveport-Bossier and wind its way through Minden, the Friendliest City in the South; Monroe-West Monroe, home of the famed Duck Dynasty clan; Natchitoches, the oldest Louisiana settlement; and Alexandria/Pineville, the heart of Louisiana.
Participating journalists will get to explore the twinkling lights in eight of north Louisiana’s most festive cities, as well as dine at some of the popular local restaurants and tour holiday-centric attractions.
Please note that all media tour applicants are vetted on a case-by-case basis in an effort to ensure that all media tours are successful, enjoyable and productive experiences. Up to six journalists will be invited to the tour. Hotel, food and a personal guide are included in this tour. Only domestic journalists will be invited and those in the Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi regions will be given first preference.
