Discover Holiday Magic in DeSoto Parish

The World’s Tallest Christmas Tree Structure was unveiled in DeSoto Parish in 2023. The “Spirit of DeSoto Tree” was the work of the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office and Sheriff Jayson Richardson. Lights stream down from the 28-story tower (300 ft) and spread out into the shape of a Christmas tree with 10,250 LED lights. No admission charged to see the tree and bring your camera for some fun photos of your family and friends.

The attraction is located at the DeSoto Parish Sheriff Office behind the Stonewall Government Plaza, 1746 U. S. Hwy 171. It will be turned on Friday November 22, 2024 at dark. The tree will remain lit until the first week of January.  Visitors are invited to visit at no charge and take photos, enjoy some hot cocoa and visit with Santa Claus at designated times.
