Biedenharn Museum & Gardens Presents Plants Of Christmas Program
(Monroe, La.) – On the 12th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, “Plants of Christmas” program presented by Ralph Calhoun, Executive Director of the Biedenharn Museum and Gardens on Thurs., Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. in the Welcome Room. This event is free to the public.
This Christmas themed program explores the long history of the iconic Christmas tree and eleven other Christmas plants including Poinsettias, Christmas Cactus, and the Christmas Pickle.
“This is a great holiday program,” says Ralph Calhoun. “Not only will it get you in the Christmas spirit, but you will learn a lot too and be able to impress your holiday guests with your knowledge.”
The Biedenharn Museum & Gardens is open Tues. thru Sat. from 10am to 5pm. Free parking is available on three sides of the museum. The main parking area is located on Speed Avenue near the main entrance to the Coke Museum. Tour information, maps and tickets are available at the Museum Store located inside the Coke Museum. An unloading zone for buses is also located on Speed Avenue directly adjacent to the Coke Museum. Adults $6 Students $4 (Under 12 years old) Annual Pass $20 (a great bargain) Tickets may be purchased in the Museum Store, located in the Coke Museum building, at 2000 Riverside Drive (the corner of Riverside Drive and Speed Avenue).
