Celebrate 25 De-LIGHT-Full Years of Christmas in Roseland
Shreveport, La. - Don’t miss the fun at the 25th annual Christmas in Roseland event, Nov. 28-Dec. 24, at the Gardens of the American Rose Center in Shreveport.
Christmas in Roseland debuted at the Gardens of the American Rose Center in 1982, and has since become a time-honored tradition of the
Shreveport-Bossier area.
This year's event will feature Visits With Santa in his 18-foot Victorial Cottage;the Roseland Express for nightly train rides
among Christmas lights and holiday decorations; Giant Christmas Cards to the Community created by local elementary, middle school
and high school students; Santa’s Old Fashioned Candy Shop; holiday entertainment and much more!
Why not take a holiday stroll with a cup of hot chocolate and a funnel cake as holiday music fills the air or
shop for holiday goodies at the American Rose Center Gift Shop.
Christmas in Roseland will be open nightly Tuesday through Sunday, Nov. 28-Dec. 24. Admission is $5 per person or $15 per carload.
Sneak Peek Weekend will be held Friday and Saturday, Nov. 21-22.
The Opening Night Celebration will be held Friday, Nov. 28, and will feature:
• A civic presentation of
The Nutcracker by the
Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet
• Santa’s Arrival
• A preformance by the Silver Bells bell choir of Summerfield Estates
