Welcome to a 19th Century Christmas in Jefferson when you arrive, toss the car keys and walk everywhere. The Christmas Candelight Tour of Homes is a treat which will inspire all ages. Docents dress in Victorian attire. Cedar, pine and fir scent the air. Stroll historic brick streets, walk through an Enchanted Forest, Christmas choirs sing melodies from on high,a Christmas Train departing at twilight. “A Christmas Story” play performances will bring back fond memories of Christmas past.
A horse-drawn carriage slowly winds its way throughout neighborhoods with homes decorated in their finest for the holidays. All this and more as you step back into a world of long ago but not forgotten.
